which designer is going to be the first designer for this high street brand. the brand have held off on encouraging designer designs as they wanted to be the only ones not jumping on the full bandwagon. but, recession has hit them hard and even though they are opening in Ireland (recently) they are finding business tough. They refuse to reduce their prices and charge crazy prices. so much so that only the dedicated and stupid are shopping there.
They have approached a slightly less well known designer to design as they reckon it would be a good way to do something different. (plus he has to be cheaper since he is a new boy on the block)
but, apparently not a lot of designers would get involved with them as they appear so far up their own arse and pretentious. they also specialise in a difficult area of fashion......
