FASHION'S NIGHT OUT: THE SHOW

On Tuesday, September 7th, Vogue held 'Fashion's Night Out: The Show' at Lincoln Center in NYC. It was the largest public fashion show to ever be held in NYC. The fall trends were showcased and styled by Tabitha Simmons(former model turned shoe deisgner) and Edward Enninful (London based stylist and fashion director) with the "opening act" featuring the FNO signature t-shirts and tanks with dramatic ballroom skirts(I assume they will be available for purchase on FNO) designed by some top names such as; Caroline Herrera, Calvin Klein,Monique Lhuillier among others.

Gisele Bündchen is seen here in a Carolina Herrera skirt for $4,990 along with the official FNO tank top and Jimmy Choo shoes.

Model Lily Donaldson wears a Oscar de la Renta skirt for $5,790

Even mad woman Naomi Campbell got in the mix in this Monique Lhuillier skirt (price was not listed)

The fashion show was split into 9 categories, including the 'Opening Act' and I tried my best to choose my favorite look from each. Although I live on an island I love fall looks! I'm not much for cold weather but the fashion is HOT during that season!

OK, I chose two fave looks for some categories, it was too hard to pick one in some cases...

GO GLOBAL

This category definitely had runway type, entertainment pieces. Nobody is expecting you to come out of your house like this! BUT the styling was definitely creative and I saw the beauty in a few of the looks...
Remove the turtleneck and make the dress 'sweep the floor' length I can see this being a hot number, it reminds me of Rihanna's white grammy dress in February.
Rodarte white dress, $15,000
Christopher Fischer turtleneck, $295
Rodarte cream and white shoes

JAZZ-AGE COOL

This is a gorgeous dress, not really one for velvet but its hot now... and loving the statement making headpiece...lavender hair anyone???
